*****UPDATE*****

September 15, 2017: The Sheriff’s Office has fielded several inquiries into the specific manner of death in this case.  There have been several claims circulated which have caused a great deal of alarm and concern, which we would like to address.  While we are still waiting for the finalized autopsy report, we have spoken to the Medical Examiner who has advised us that the only visible injuries to Mrs. Marshall’s body were a single gunshot wound to the head, and a few small bruises.  The Sheriff’s Office wishes to express our condolences to the family, and give reassurance to our community as a whole that we will continue to work tirelessly investigating every aspect of this case until it’s conclusion.
