On 10/31/09 a 21 year-old Tumbling Shoals man (Cyrus Bond) was arrested and charged with Public Intox a misdemeanor, Breaking and Entering a Class "D" Felony and Theft of Property a Class"C" Felony for breaking into a residence on Saw Mill Road in the Quitman area. Bond stole a riding lawn mower from the residence and was later located back at the residence inside the home sleeping. Bond was arrested by Sgt. Danny Roberts at the residence on Saw Mill with out incident. Detective Bettis conducted the interview where Bond admitted to taking the lawn mower and being in the residence. Bond for Bond was set at $1000.00.
